Fleurs Aquarelle — French for Watercolor Florals

This stunning deadstock lace is embroidered with Japanese-inspired motifs in mesmerizing colors. Along the center of the diamond-shaped tulle, you'll find delicate printed floral details, while the scalloped edge features a soft watercolor effect in vibrant range from purple and blues. Select flowers are accented with shimmering gold and silver Lurex threads, with printed greens and yellows in the center. 

Everything in this kit, excluding the lace, has been hand-dyed in a custom periwinkle to match the lace perfectly.

A Note About the Lace:

You will receive two cut pieces of bilateral lace, each 1 yard long and 9 inches wide. These are mirrored from left to right (not top to bottom as in traditional bilateral lace), so the flowers run in the same direction across the yardage. To achieve a mirrored layout, both yards are necessary, you won’t be able to mirror from a single piece.

Recommended Pattern Hack:

If you're making a larger size, I highly recommend the overlay hack from Emerald Erin using her Friday French Cut Panty Pattern. This approach requires less lace and lets the embroidered tulle truly shine over a soft bra tulle base.

You will have exactly enough to make 1 bra and 1 panty. Wires are not included.
